Another WWE Championship change took place on tonight’s WWE Raw show in Boston alongside John Cena’s Intercontinental Championship victory.

To kick off tonight’s WWE Raw show, John Cena faced off against Dominik Mysterio, with Dominik putting his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Cena, which led to Cena scoring the win to capture the title for the first time in his career.

However, two other championship matches took place on the show, with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer defending her title against Raquel Rodriguez, and Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defending the Women’s Tag Team Championship against the Kabuki Warriors in the show’s main event.

The match saw Nia Jax and Lash Legend get involved, with them costing Charlotte and Alexa the match, allowing the Kabuki Warriors to capture their third WWE Tag Team Championship in their career, and Asuka’s fifth career Tag Team Championship.

After the match, both IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley made their return to Raw, fighting off the Kabuki Warriors, Nia and Lash, and making the official challenge for War Games.

The men’s War Games match was also confirmed on tonight’s show, with Jey Uso, CM Punk and Cody Rhodes set to feature in the match against the Vision and Logan Paul.
