Another Championship Change At WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2025 WWE

A third championship change took place on tonight’s WWE NXT Halloween Havoc premium live event in Arizona.

At NXT x TNA Showdown, a title vs. title match took place, pitting the TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz against NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState.

The Hardys would end up scoring the win, with Matt and Jeff Hardy capturing WWE gold for the first time in six years, while still being contracted to TNA, being the first ever TNA wrestlers to win WWE gold.

A rematch between the two teams was set for tonight’s Halloween Havoc event, with the match being contested under ‘Broken Rules’ after Matt and Jeff revived Broken Matt and Brother Nero after entering the Lake of Reincarnation on NXT.

However, it wasn’t enough for Matt and Jeff to keep ahold of the gold, with Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin putting down Jeff Hardy with a Doomsday Device off a Ladder through a table to win back the NXT Tag Team Championship.
