There are currently seven matches confirmed for Sunday’s WWE Backlash pay-per-view, but there’s another title match that is probably going to be added.
That bout looks to be the Street Profits defending the Raw Tag Team Championship against the Viking Raiders. WWE has not yet officially announced it, though.
The two teams headed into yesterday’s episode of Raw with a scoreline of 2-2 in their ‘anything you can do, we can do better’ series of skits, with a decathlon set to decide it all.
However, a decathlon is obviously 10 events, which is an even number, and they finished at 5-5, so neither of them won.
The Viking Raiders also had a match in the main event against Bobby Lashley and MVP, which the Street Profits came to ringside for along with Lashley’s Backlash opponent Drew McIntyre.
Although the duos’ rivalry is a friendly one, if it doesn’t culminate with a championship match, it will all have been quite a massive waste of time. The question then is who does whichever team wins feud with next, given they’re the only two real tag teams on Raw right now?
