Another change is reportedly set to be made to WWE’s previously announced WrestleMania 42 plans.
Earlier today it was reported that New Orleans were no longer set to host next year’s WrestleMania, three months after they were announced to be staging the event by The Rock on the February 21 episode of SmackDown.
It was later reported that Las Vegas was expected to host WrestleMania for a second straight year, and while WWE have not yet confirmed whether that will indeed be the case, a new update has revealed another potential change coming to next year’s Grandest Stage of Them All.
As reported by Dave Meltzer on Twitter, WrestleMania 42 could be set for a change of date, as well as location, writing:
Also date change on Mania as well.
WrestleMania 42 was previously announced to be taking place on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, 2025 which was set to be a week earlier than WrestleMania 41 – which took place on April 19 and 20, 2024.
Following this, PWInsider Elite has revealed when exactly the new date for WrestleMania 42 could be, stating that the belief locally is that the two-night event will take place over the weekend of April 18 and 19, 2025, one week later than the previously announced dates.
WWE has not yet confirmed the new host location and dates for WrestleMania 42 but we will provide further updates if this happens, as well as any other news regarding the situation when they become available.
