A star from another company has arrived at the WWE Performance Center amid amid a ‘growing partnership’ with a promotion in Japan.
While NXT was on the air – with the opening bout featuring a hardcore match between Lola Vice and Jaida Parker – Shawn Michaels made an announcement on social media.
Taking to Twitter to share a video of Pro Wrestling NOAH star Yoshiki Inamura training at the PC, HBK also referenced the ‘growing partnership’ between NXT and NOAH.
Michaels wrote:
“I’m excited to welcome @noah_ghc Wrestler @noah_yoshiki to #WWENXT. This hard-hitting young man is going to be a problem for anyone he steps in the ring with.
“I look forward to growing NXT’s partnership with @noahglobal in the future. #WWENXT”

Yoshiki Inamura recently faced both Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs from NXT when the pair made appearances for NOAH in Japan.
Elsewhere set for tonight’s 2300 Arena NXT in Philadelphia, WWE and ECW legend Bubba Ray Dudley will team with Trick Williams to take on Ridge Holland and Ethan Page.
