All Elite Wrestling’s lead commentator is WWE Hall of Famer and legendary announcer Jim Ross.
Ross calls the action for AEW’s weekly TV show Dynamite alongside Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.
However, another former WWE commentator will be joining Jim Ross as part of the broadcast team for this week’s set of tapings.
Before and after AEW: Dynamite, the new promotion will be taping matches for their hour-long dark show on YouTube.
Cody Rhodes confirmed on Twitter this afternoon that former ECW icon and Smackdown announcer Taz will work as a guest commentator on this week’s matches in Philadelphia.

There is no word on if Taz will continue to work for AEW following his guest appearance this week, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on the situation.
The episode of AEW dark that Taz will be announcing will go live on 10/22.
