Another massive betrayal on tonight’s AEW Dynamite (August 3) sees the shifting of alliances and a possible reunion of a fan favorite trio.
After the return of Adam Cole was heartwarming at first but quickly took a dastardly turn as he first announced to the Undisputed Elite that since he was not cleared to compete, they wouldn’t be able to compete in the upcoming Trios Tournament.
After he went on to elaborate, it would be because the Young Bucks couldn’t compete, reDRagon attacked them!
As the Undisputed Elite dissolved before our very eyes, the camera cut to a crowd shot of a crying child, but before Cole was able to deliver a devilish blow, Hangman Adam Page’s music hit and he ran out for the save.
After, Hangman helped up Matt Jackson and there was a positive exchange while commentary wondered if we could be seeing the reunion of Hung Bucks?
Elsewhere on the show, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. teamed with Jamie Hayter to take on ThunderStorm, Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm.
Hangman Adam Page just saved the Young Bucks from a potentially brutal assault by Adam Cole and #reDRagon! Are we looking at a potential reunion in the near future?! Watch #AEWDynamite LIVE on TBS right now! pic.twitter.com/CkdisCSG47
