Given the state of the main roster, it seems that more and more unused stars are becoming interested in “dropping down” to NXT to rebuild their characters.
We have seen this with both Killian Dain and Tyler Breeze, with the latter already having had a North American title match at NXT TakeOver: XXV. Dain returned to NXT TV during last nights taping, but he wasn’t the only one.
Tyler Breeze defeated Jaxson Ryker, which led to a beat down from the rest of the forgotten sons. This then brought out Breeze’s former tag team partner Fandango, who has been out for a just under a year with injury.
While Fandango is still listed as a member of the Raw roster at present, you would think it highly likely that he could be another main roster superstar to make the move back to the developmental promotion.
Despite being used as comedy jobbers on the main roster, both Breeze and ‘Dango are incredibly talented in the ring and having them back together on NXT is something many would want to see.

As you can see, he didn’t return in his classic Fashion Police gear, and rather looked as though he was cosplaying Dean Ambrose.
Apollo Crews also returned for a one off match with KUSHIDA, losing by submission.
