With the Forbidden Door now open and New Japan Pro Wrestling, AEW and IMPACT all working together, it seems we are heading into a new era of cross-promotional wrestling. Now, it seems another company may be getting involved.
After winning the GHC Heavyweight Championship last week, Keiji Mutoh (AKA The Great Muta) revealed that he has been contacted about defending the title in IMPACT. Here is the clip of Mutoh saying he has received a message from the promotion:

The GHC Heavyweight Championship has been primarily defended in Pro Wrestling NOAH since the launch of the promotion. However, the company has had working relationships with other promotions in the past.
Mutoh has wrestled for IMPACT before with his most recent match coming in 2015. This was at TNA One Night Only where he defeated Mr. Anderson in a singles match.
By capturing the GHC Heavyweight Championship last week, Mutoh became one of just three men to win the three biggest titles in Japan. The others being Yoshihiro Takiyama and Kensuke Sasaki.
