All Elite Wrestling will be starting their tournament to crown the first ever TNT Champion soon. As a preview of their first round matches, a tag team match has been announced for AEW Dynamite.
All Elite Wrestling announced on Twitter that Cody will team with Darby Allin to take on Shawn Spears and Sammy Guevara.

The first round of the tournament will see Cody reignite his rivalry with Shawn Spears from last year. The two competed in a grudge match at All Out last August, where Arn Anderson made his AEW debut. Anderson cost Spears the match by hitting a powerful Spinebuster, allowing Cody to get the win. Spears has been looking for a tag team partner as of late but has been unsuccessful so far.
Darby Allin will also clash with Sammy Guevara in the first round. The two had a high-speed battle at AEW Revolution in February, which Allin managed to win. Allin has made it clear he is not finished with the Inner Circle and will look to defeat Guevara once more.
This tag team match joins the card which also features a Kenny Omega vs. Trent match and the tag debut of Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall.
