It was reported earlier today that Raw star Reckoning (Mia Yim) would be moving to SmackDown. Now, it is being reported that former RETRIBUTION stablemate Slapjack will also be switching brands.
John Pollock of POST Wrestling reported the news today, saying the former Shane Thorne would be moving to SmackDown.
The Slapjack character made its debut alongside the rest of RETRIBUTION. However, in the months that have followed, he has only picked up one singles win on television. That being a win over Ricochet on the November 30 episode of Raw.
The group as a whole was unable to ever get much momentum with Slapjack only able to manage four wins in total with the faction.
It currently remains unclear whether he will keep his current name or return to his original ring name. It is also unknown whether he and Reckoning will associate with each other going forward.
We will provide additional details on the matter as soon as they become available.
