A new report has revealed another big sign that a released star is returning to WWE.
As previously mentioned, there have been various reports and rumors that indicated WWE had interest in bringing back Chelsea Green.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on Green, noting that the former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion didn’t end up appearing at Wrestlecade.
Green was originally scheduled to appear, so her absence may be another indication that she may be on her way back to WWE.
Chelsea Green signed with WWE back in 2018 and spent three years with the promotion before her release in April 2021.
Following her release, the former NXT talent had a brief stint in Ring of Honor before making her way back to IMPACT Wrestling.
Green won the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championships with Deonna Purrazzo as VXT and held the titles for 56 days earlier this year.
