It seems like another championship match is going to be taking place on the April 21 episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT.
Darby Allin posted a screenshot of the latest AEW rankings on Twitter, and asked told Tony Khan to pick one of the top five ranked talents to go up against Allin in next week’s main event.
The top five is made up of:
- Adam Page
- Jon Moxley
- Jungle Boy
- Cody Rhodes
- Powerhouse Hobbs
With Adam Page already booked against Ricky Starks, and Powerhouse Hobbs already booked against Christian Cage, that leaves Jon Moxley, Jungle Boy or Cody Rhodes.
At this point you have to imagine it’s not likely to be Moxley or Rhodes, so it looks like we’ll be getting Allin vs Jungle Boy in next week’s main event.
Allin didn’t mention his TNT Title in his tweet but it’s a safe bet that the championship will indeed be on the line.
Another championship match already set for next week’s AEW Dynamite will see Hikaru Shida defend the Women’s World Title against Tay Conti.
