Another TNA Wrestling Departure Confirmed

Another TNA Wrestling Departure Confirmed TNA

Another TNA Wrestling departure has been confirmed following a number of other departures from the company today.

A number of departures from TNA Wrestling have been announced today, including former WWE star Rhino, announcer Jade Chung and Trent Seven.

Seven isn’t the only former WWE NXT star to leave the company today, as PWInsider is now reporting that KUSHIDA has now finished up with the company.

KUSHIDA closed out his run this past weekend at the Final Resolution pay-per-view, as well as the subsequent TNA television tapings in Atlanta, Georgia.

KUSHIDA signed a dual contract to both TNA and New Japan Pro Wrestling in December 2023.

The signing was originally planned to be the first of a number of similar deals that would in theory keep talents in both companies, as well as reward them financially as a way to stem the tide of losing them to larger promotions.

However, after the departure of Scott D’Amore earlier this year, that initiative quietly went away.

KUSHIDA will reportedly be primarily focused on NJPW going forward, and left TNA on good terms, so the door is open for potential future appearances down the line, but he is finished contractually.
