Along with Roman Reigns, another top WWE star is potentially set to make their return on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
After over four months away, Roman Reigns returned to WWE television for the first time since WrestleMania 40 at SummerSlam on Saturday night, dropping Solo Sikoa with a Spear during the Bloodline Rules main event.
Since his return, it’s emerged that Roman has now been advertised for this week’s episode of SmackDown, with him now officially listed as a babyface on the company’s internal roster.
However, it seems as though Roman may not be the only top star to make his return to WWE television on this week’s SmackDown show.
Per PWInsider, former WWE Champion AJ Styles is also scheduled for this week’s SmackDown taping.
AJ has not appeared on television since Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, where he lost an I Quit match to Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Styles recently represented WWE in Pro Wrestling NOAH, where he defeated the legendary Naomichi Marufuji in a first-time ever dream match.
