WWE Evolution is coming our way on Sunday, October 28, and PWInsider has confirmed that WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze will be appearing at the event.
Blayze is a three-time WWF Women’s Champion and former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, being the first female to achieve the latter.
The 2015 WWE Hall of Fame inductee – known as Madusa during her time in WCW – quite memorably appeared on the Royal Rumble 2018 pre-show panel earlier this year, during which she had a really awkward conversation with JBL when she couldn’t decide who she thought was going to win the first ever women’s Royal Rumble match. I’ve heard rumors she’s still “thinking about it” to this very day nine months later.
There is no word on what role Blayze will play at WWE‘s first all-women’s pay-per-view.The confirmed card for Evolution so far looks like this:
- Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella – WWE Raw Women’s Championship
- Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair – WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship – Last Woman Standing
- Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Alexa Bliss & Mickie James
- Kairi Sane (c) vs. Shayna Baszler – NXT Women’s Championship
- Battle Royal for a future Women’s Championship opportunity
- Mae Young Classic 2018 Final
- NXT UK Women’s Championship match
