Another WWE name change has been confirmed for a recent call-up from NXT to the Friday Night SmackDown roster.
As of today on WWE.com, Shotzi Blackheart is listed on the SmackDown roster simply as “Shotzi”.
Shotzi won a tag team match alongside Tegan Nox on this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina.
The duo was announced as “Shotzi and Nox”, but WWE.com still has Nox listed as “Tegan Nox” on the SmackDown roster page, so it looks like she’ll be keeping her full ring name.
These follow other recent WWE name changes including RECKONING and SLAPJACK ditching the RETRIBUTION gimmicks and going back to being Mia Yim and Shane Thorne as per WWE’s internal listings.
Nikki Cross is now officially Nikki ASH too, with the ASH standing for Almost a SuperHero.
