Austin Theory Given First Name Back

WWE Raw star Matt Riddle has now returned to his Matt Riddle ring name, as confirmed on last night’s episode of Raw, after he was shortened to simply ‘Riddle’ under the Vince McMahon regime.

This, along with the fact that Johnny Gargano returned under his real name, seemed to imply that the old WWE edict of stars not using names they used outside of WWE, or their real names, has been reversed.

Well, it seems as though Riddle isn’t the only WWE Raw star to revert back to his old ring name, as PWInsider has confirmed that Mr Money In The Bank Theory will also be getting his first name back, reverting back to the name Austin Theory.

Other WWE stars may follow suit, as Angel recently teased returning to his Garza last name, as well as Butch returning to his old Pete Dunne ring gear at the recent SmackDown tapings.
