Another match set to take place at WWE WrestleMania 41 next month has now been confirmed on tonight’s SmackDown show.
At the Elimination Chamber event in Toronto, Randy Orton made his return to WWE television for the first time in four months, where he fought off Kevin Owens following his Unsanctioned match against Sami Zayn.
Orton was taken out of action by a Piledriver from Kevin Owens following their cancelled match at Crown Jewel in November, with Orton attempting to hit the Punt Kick on Owens before he was pulled away.
On tonight’s SmackDown show in Bologna, Italy, Orton opened up the show, before he was quickly interrupted by Kevin Owens.
Owens apologised to Orton for taking his anger out on him, saying he didn’t deserve the Piledriver, and he let his anger get the better of him, which Orton knows all too well.
Owens pitched for he and Orton to put their issues behind them, and go on to wrestle for the WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania.
Orton rejected Owens’ apology, before he then said that he and Owens would face off at WrestleMania, where he plans to Punt Owens in the head.
