An AEW star has claimed that he was taken off of last night’s Dynamite in Houston, Texas in a cryptic tweet.
Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed mentioned on Twitter how he was hoping to be at the Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas just prior to Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, but his opportunity was taken away in a cryptic tweet.
He wrote:
I wish I was at #AEWDynamite tonight in Houston but that opportunity was taken away from me

Anthony Bowens didn’t post a follow up, explaining what he meant in this cryptic tweet. It was noted that Bowens is reportedly scheduled to get knee surgery, so this could be the reason for his absence.
The Acclaimed recently aligned with The Gunn Club on AEW television. The partnership got off to a good start with Bowens, Max Caster, Colten and Austin Gunn defeating Bryce Donovan, GKM, Lucas Chase and Zack Clayton in a 8-Man Tag Team Match on this week’s AEW Dark: Elevation.
