AEW star Anthony Bowens has stated that he has undergone a procedure for a knee injury.
On Monday’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, Bowens was attacked in a backstage segment. It was mentioned on Friday’s Rampage that Bowens was injured.
Bowens has taken to social media with a photo of himself in a hospital bed. Noting that he had to undergo a procedure on his knee, Bowens tweeted:
“Without getting into too much detail..bc of the attack after Elevation on Monday, I had to undergo a procedure this week to fix my knee. Story of my life..1 step forward, 2 steps back. #AEWRampage”
Bowens had returned to action on Dark: Elevation after several weeks sidelined with a knee injury. There is currently no timetable on his return.
