Anthony Ogogo has recently been firing shots at Jordynne Grace and Jonathan Gresham on Twitter. While Grace did initially respond to a couple of the AEW star’s remarks, she has since deactivated her Twitter account, and Gresham has stated that they hadn’t planned any angle with Ogogo.
As per Fightful Select (subscription required), several AEW talents indicated that Ogogo’s replies to Gresham weren’t looked on favourably, moreso after Gresham and Grace stated that the back-and-forth was not part of an angle or work.
It was noted that while it isn’t clear whether or not Ogogo had been spoken to by the company, but heat wasn’t said to be too substantial.
While some talent indicated to Fightful that Gresham is a respected name, and should be given a heads up if somebody wants to involve him in a work, others reportedly noted that they’d rather not be told about online ‘works’, so they could react organically.
Those backstage who know Gresham expect him to handle the situation interpersonally, per the report.
Ogogo last wrestled during the December 8 AEW Dark: Elevation taping.
