Apollo Crews Publicly Jokes About His Booking In WWE

Despite having an immense physique and insane potential, WWE has seemingly struggled to book Apollo Crews since his main roster call-up in 2016.

While Crews might have it all in the ring, some have criticised his charisma and character, suggesting this is the reason WWE higher-ups haven’t booked him stronger.

On Twitter, @WRESTLING_FAN96 shared an image from WWE 2K20 of Intercontinental Champion Buddy Murphy being confronted by Apollo Crews.

The fan said that he “wouldn’t mind seeing this in real life”, and I’m sure many people would agree with him. A match between Buddy Murphy and Apollo Crews would likely be fantastic.

Apollo responded to the tweet, saying that he and Murphy “would have to get it done in under 6 minutes”.

Apollo is clearly referencing the fact that neither he of Buddy have had particularly long matches on Raw or Smackdown. When either have been booked in recent months, their matches tend to be over in a matter of minutes.

While this is seemingly changing for Murphy now that he is on Raw with Paul Heyman, Apollo Crews doesn’t seem like he’ll be getting a push anytime soon.
