April 23 WWE SmackDown Overnight Viewership Revealed

The overnight viewership for last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which is the second show the blue brand has put on since WrestleMania 37, has now been revealed.

According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s show on FOX brought in an average of 2.0415 million viewers, also scoring a 0.5 rating in the all-important 18-49 demographic.

For comparison, the final viewership for last week’s post-WrestleMania show on April 16 was 2.119 million. It’ll be interesting to see how this week’s show compares when the final viewership is out next week.

For those that didn’t catch it, last night’s show featured a tag team match pitting Seth Rollins and Jey Uso against Cesaro and Daniel Bryan, as well as Kevin Owens challenging for the Intercontinental title.

WWE will be hoping for a huge viewership figure next week, as it was announced last night that Daniel Bryan will be challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in what has the makings of a huge match.
