WWE Hall of Famer, long-time backstage producer, and spinebuster extraordinaire Arn Anderson has left the company, as reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet.
Anderson joined WWE as a road agent following the buyout of WCW in 2001 and worked in the same capacity for the company for the next 18 years.
This news comes after a new batch of producers joined WWE in the likes of Jeff Jarrett, Chris Parks (Abyss), Shane Helms and Sonjay Dutt, and while we don’t know if Anderson’s release is related in some way, it seems they could afford to let him go.
Anderson was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012 as part of the Four Horsemen, and I’ve now just realized he’s not going to be a guest at Ric Flair’s birthday celebration on Raw this Monday, and this has made me very sad.The reason for Arn leaving the company is unknown at this time.
What do you think should be the next step in the career of Arn Anderson? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter.
