It appears we now know why former Raw Women’s Champion Asuka has been off WWE TV since the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in mid-July.
Asuka has taken to Twitter to reveal that she finally has new teeth after having one knocked out via a Shayna Baszler kick in their match over six months ago.
However, in doing so, she posted a picture that showed she’s currently donning an arm brace on her left arm.
There had previously been reports that Asuka was fine and just wasn’t being used, but she disputed those claims at the time, and it looks like we now know why.
After Lana was released by WWE in June, Asuka was moved to a tag team with Naomi, but Naomi has now been moved to SmackDown so it looks like Asuka will be a singles wrestler when she comes back.
She hasn’t officially said anything about her apparent arm injury or how long it’ll keep her out for. We wish her all the best with her recovery.
