Asuka began her latest reign as the Raw Women’s Champion at Night of Champions last weekend, when she brought an end to Bianca Belair’s historic run with the title.
Asuka made her first appearance as the Raw Women’s Champion on this week’s SmackDown show, appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect.
During the segment, Asuka was interrupted by IYO SKY, with the two exchanging words with each other before Bayley interrupted them.
The segment was the second time Asuka and IYO have gone back and forth in Japanese on the microphone, with them famously also doing so on Raw last October.
To close that segment, IYO called Asuka a ‘bitch’, but this time she took the insults to the Champion a step further.
Asuka shared the English translation of the segment to Twitter, which featured Asuka calling IYO a ‘child’, with IYO responding by calling the Empress of Tomorrow a ‘Piece of s**t’.
IYO is set for a Money In The Bank qualifying match against Shotzi on next week’s show.
