Independent wrestling has a new promotion that has just signed a familiar face throughout the wrestling world: Austin Aries.
As previously reported, EC3 and Adam Scherr (formerly known as Braun Strowman in WWE) have started their own wrestling promotion, Control Your Narrative, which has its debut show set for March 5th.
EC3 has recently commented on what he is looking for when he is seeking out talent to sign for Control Your Narrative and it seems he has already signed one familiar face to wrestling fans: Austin Aries.
Taking to Twitter to announce his plans to appear for the promotion’s debut live show, Aries tweeted:
“You don’t get to force your truths onto me. You don’t know me. You don’t define me. You don’t color my perception. You don’t create my reality. And you certainly don’t control my narrative. Only I do.”
Aries is well known for his time with Impact Wrestling where he was three-time Impact World Champion and six-time Impact X Division Champion as well as time with Ring of Honor and a stint in WWE from 2016-2017 before being released and returning to Impact.
You don’t get to force your truths onto me. You don’t know me. You don’t define me. You don’t color my perception. You don’t create my reality. And you certainly don’t control my narrative. Only I do.
