‘Austin Theory Invitational’ To Determine Next United States Championship Challenger

‘Austin Theory Invitational’ To Determine Next United States Championship Challenger WWE

With Austin Theory retaining his United States Championship against Sheamus on last week’s episode of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden, his next challenger needs to be determined.

We now know method by which WWE will determine Theory’s new challenger, as two Fatal Four-Way matches are set to take place over the next two weeks titled the ‘Austin Theory Invitational’.

The first four-way will take place tonight, and will see AJ Styles, Santos Escobar, Butch and Grayson Waller fight it out for a shot at the United States Championship.

We do not yet know who will feature in the second four-way, though it’s highly likely one of those names will be LA Knight due to his absence from tonight’s match.

The show is also set to see Asuka defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair, as well as a follow up segment from last week’s show featuring Jey Uso.

Waller made his main roster in-ring debut on last week’s show, where he faced off against Edge in the main event at Madison Square Garden.

Styles was also in action on last week’s show, picking up a quick victory over Karrion Kross.
