Update: WWE.com now officially lists Austin Theory as just ‘Theory’, confirming this change.
It appears as though another WWE star has undergone a name change on tonight’s (April 11) episode of WWE Raw.
On the show, Austin Theory was speaking with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville, when he asked them to call him just ‘Theory’, as he and Vince McMahon had decided the name ‘Austin’ didn’t suit him after what happened at WrestleMania 38.
It was also announced that Theory will face Finn Balor for the United States Championship on next week’s Raw show.
