Austin Theory has opened up on working with both Logan Paul and IShowSpeed in WWE ahead of WrestleMania 42

After capturing the World Tag Team Championship together, Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision are set to team up with IShowSpeed at WrestleMania 42, where they face off with The Usos and LA Knight.

Both Speed and Logan Paul being at WrestleMania will bring a lot of new eyes to the show with their respective fanbases, and Theory has now opened up on working with the two internet superstars.

Austin Theory On Working With Logan Paul In WWE

Speaking to The Mark Hoke Show, Theory detailed working with Logan Paul, and how he ‘messes it up’ for other potential outsiders in the company.

He said:

“I have to say Logan Paul, it’s so fun man. That’s a guy, as much as people hate on him and say whatever they say, that’s a guy if you look, even kind of similar to my story, it wasn’t wrestling but working on something, having a passion for something and becoming one of the biggest superstars in the world on social media, just really anything.

“He’s grinded and built that, and still to this day, even when we’re at work and putting a match together or figuring out our next move for the Vision, he’s working on other stuff. He’s always working, so being around him is super motivating, it’s super cool to see somebody that has all these other things going on and really could just say ‘yeah just put me on the show and I’ll get you some views’, it’s not like that at all. Like, dude is in it, he’s given his all, and to see somebody jump in it like that and be able to just get it, and even improve along the way so quick, it blows my mind.

“I think he kinda messes it up for other outsiders because they go ‘I could do that’, but you’re not Logan Paul.”

Austin Theory Praises IShowSpeed Ahead Of WrestleMania 42 Partnership

Theory would also go on to praise IShowSpeed, his other partner at WrestleMania, saying:

“When we talk about IShowSpeed, that’s another one that started so young grinding, and he’s only 21 and dude’s got almost 50 million followers just on Instagram.

“Just his platform and what he brings to the table is so unique, and I feel with him, especially going into this match and just the little stuff you’ve seen on TV, not the Spear where he almost passed away, but this week you see him jump over LA Knight. Speed, that’s nothing for him, he jumps over cars.

“So it’s really cool man, and he really is somebody that, he’s got it. He really just needs to know ‘hey this is what you want me to do, I got you’, and he adds his own little flavour on it.

“For me it’s a cool situation because I’m with two guys that normally fans wouldn’t like because they’re outsiders but to me, I love it, especially the heat we get and people not liking it but seeing ‘dang, Logan’s a Tag Team Champion though’, ‘dang IShowSpeed is on WrestleMania at 21’. Hate all you want, but we’re living life man.”

More Celebrity Involvement With WrestleMania 42

IShowSpeed and Logan Paul are far from the only famous faces that are set to get involved with WrestleMania 42 this year.

Though fans have praised Speed for his passion and commitment to his role on the show, especially with the recent angle where LA Knight invaded his home on stream, there is definitely major celebrity fatigue being felt among the WWE fanbase.

The fatigue is not exclusive to the fans, with even WWE roster members speaking out about their unhappiness with major celebrity involvement at WrestleMania, namely Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll’s involvement with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton’s main event angle.

This also comes off the heels of Lil Yachty appearing in the main event segment of last week’s SmackDown, where he stood alongside Trick Williams, and a potential WrestleMania appearance in the works for Tom Brady after his recent comments on the company.

So much celebrity involvement has led to some burnout among fans, especially as many notable wrestlers such as IYO SKY, Carmelo Hayes, Tiffany Stratton, Ilja Dragunov and Women’s United States Champion Giulia are without any involvement on the biggest show of the year.
