It’s being reported that Hit Row member B-Fab only signed a new WWE deal a week before she was released by the company.
B-Fab was one of 18 names released yesterday, but one of the most surprising given she’d just been called up from NXT to the main roster with the rest of Hit Row.
After word came out that she’d been released, Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer tweeted: “B-Fab literally signed a new deal a week ago”.
In today’s Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer followed up by writing that she’d signed a new main roster contract “in recent days or weeks”.
One of the consequences of this is that she’ll likely now be under a 90-day non-compete clause instead of 30 days, since main roster contracts tend to be 90 and NXT contracts tend to be 30.
The three male members of Hit Row – Isaiah Scott, Top Dolla and Ashante Adonis – are still signed with WWE.
B-Fab only wrestled two TV matches in WWE, both on NXT, which were a win over Katrina Cortez, then a loss in a no disqualifications match against Elektra Lopez.
