Big Title Rematch Takes Place After WWE SmackDown WWE

A WWE Backlash 2023 rematch took place following this week’s (May 12) live episode of WWE SmackDown.

Bianca Belair didn’t have much luck on WWE SmackDown. During her celebration, the Raw Women’s Champion was confronted by Asuka, who sprayed mist into her face.

While Asuka made her intentions clear to renew her rivalry with Belair, the EST faced another previous rival in a dark match at the taping.

After SmackDown went off the air, Belair went one-on-one with IYO SKY of Damage CTRL.

Belair and SKY previously clashed over the Raw Women’s Title at WWE Backlash 2023, and while Belair walked away with the gold, it was SKY who won over the crowd.

The Raw Women’s Champion was victorious again in their dark match, pinning SKY following a KOD.

This was SKY’s second loss of the night, with SKY and Bayley unsuccessfully challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship during the live episode.
