Backstage details have emerged on deals that WWE offered during the recent December Performance Center tryouts.

WWE recently held their final tryout of 2021 in the Performance Center. WWE has since posted photos and videos from the multi-day event, featuring a number of notable names.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was stated that a ton of prospects were offered contracts, with some offered regular developmental deals, and others offered ‘tryout’ deals.

The ‘tryout’ contracts are said to be 90 day deals, where a talent will train at the Performance Center, giving WWE the option whether or not to sign the talent to a full multi-year deal. Nine prospects received tryout deals several weeks back, as per the report.

Former college football star Alema Collins has indicated that he has now signed a WWE contract. The nature of his deal is unknown.

WWE has now shared a behind-the-scenes video from the tryout. The likes of Terrence & Terrell Hughes (sons of D-Von Dudley), Bianca Carelli (daughter of Santino Marella), AEW Dark regular Notorious Mimi and ROH Women’s Champion can be seen in action in the video, which you can watch at this link.
