According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jimmy Jacobs is currently working as the head of creative for IMPACT Wrestling. The report goes on to say that Jacobs writes the IMPACT Wrestling episodes each week with Robert Evans and Tommy Dreamer.
Scott D’Amore has the final say each week. However, Jacobs is responsible for putting creative together.
Jacobs was a long-time ROH Wrestler. Evans also worked as a manager and wrestler for ROH.
Both men also worked for WWE and left the company under some controversial circumstances. Jimmy Jacobs parted ways with WWE after posing for a photo with the BTE guys during the infamous invasion episode.
Evans left WWE after Bret Hart’s Hall of Fame speech. Evans was responsible for producing Hart’s speech which mentioned Vince McMahon’s name. Vince yelled at Evans and this led to him quitting the company.
