Get the backstage details on what went down at AEW Dynamite with Saraya getting fined for using colorful language on live TV.
After The Outcasts’ segment on last night’s AEW Dynamite, Saraya tweeted that she was fined for having used profanity on live television.
Now according to a report from Fightful Select, the Tweet about the fine was 100% real.
While the amount of the fine was not disclosed, the proceeds were said to have gone towards AEW Together projects and she did apologize privately.
Additionally there was a “mass email” send to talent informing her peers that she had been “fined for profanity and using a middle finger without informing the coach of the segment.”
It was noted in the report talent have been discouraged from flipping off members of the crowd as well as body shaming those in attendance.
The Outcasts (Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho) have been embroiled in a feud with ‘AEW originals’, the talent who didn’t migrate over from that other place, in what has thus far created interesting albeit unlikely alliances.
The end of their segment even saw a tenuous partnership between former enemies Riho and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Both Saraya and Baker are set to star in the upcoming docu-series, “AEW: All Access” set to debut after AEW Dynamite on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
