Backstage News On Kenny Omega IMPACT Plans

Some backstage news has come to light regarding possible plans for Kenny Omega on this coming week’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling.

Before you read on, do be aware this is probably going to contain spoilers, so if you really want to watch Omega on IMPACT without knowing what’s gonna happen, stop reading. I don’t know why you’d have clicked on this in the first place if that’s the case, but anyway, you’ve been warned.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, IMPACT will be announcing an upcoming match for Omega on Tuesday’s show.

Kenny Omega did appear on the Final Resolution pay-per-view last night. He reunited with former Bullet Club teammate Karl Anderson and gave him a pep talk ahead of Anderson’s match with Ethan Page.

Meltzer reported in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Omega will be headlining “at least some” IMPACT pay-per-views. The next one is Hard To Kill on January 16.

The most highly rumoured opponent seems to be IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann which would play into a potential “belt collector” run for Omega.
