The backstage reaction to Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura’s commentary at last night’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show has been revealed.

WWE held it’s latest Saturday Night’s Main Event show last night in Tampa, which featured five matches, including a Steel Cage grudge match between Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest.

The match saw WWE Hall of Famer Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura make his appearance on commentary, with the finish coming when Damian Priest nailed McIntyre with a con-chair-to, exiting the cage through the door.

This finish came as a shock to Jesse on commentary, who was blown away by Priest opting to walk out of the Steel Cage door, as you can see in the video below.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Jesse was supposed to ‘lay out’ during Lilian Garcia’s introductions for the match, though there were lots of laughs over his rant at the end of the Steel Cage match.

Drew McIntyre is reportedly set to take extended time off following the show due to him working his recent feud with Priest while hurt.
