The backstage reaction to rapper Rick Ross’ AEW Dynamite appearance has been revealed.

The November 2 edition of AEW Dynamite featured plenty of high profile names from in and out of wrestling appearing throughout the show.

From the debut of WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett to the return of NJPW’s Katsuyori Shibata, it was quite the noteworthy episode.

Rapper Rick Ross also made an appearance in a backstage segment alongside Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on the backstage reaction to Ross, noting that Grapsody’s Will Washington first heard of a potential appearance from the music artist on AEW TV has been in the works since August.

Also, the two-minute segment with Rick Ross and Swerve In Our Glory was done in only one take.

This signals that All Elite Wrestling were very impressed with the rapper’s work. However, this has been no words on future appearances for “Ricky Rozay”.

As announced on Dynamite, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee will be back in action on next Wednesday’s Dynamite in an eight man tag team match, teaming with Colten and Austin Gunn against AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed and FTR.
