Backstage Reaction To Rusev WWE Return

The backstage reaction to Rusev’s WWE return on last week’s WWE Raw after WrestleMania show has been revealed.

Former AEW star Miro was officially granted his release from his AEW contract back in February after having previously requested his release from his contract.

Following his release, it was reported that Miro, once again under the name Rusev, would be returning to WWE after five years, with him initially being released back in 2020.

Rusev did indeed reappear in WWE on last week’s Raw show, where he laid waste to the Alpha Academy upon his return.

Rusev’s WWE return match has been announced for next week’s episode of Raw, where he will face off against Otis, and the backstage reaction to his return has now been revealed.

Per PWInsider Elite (subscription required), there has been a warm reaction to Rusev’s WWE return internally.

PWInsider was told that a lot of talent have voiced their interest in working with Rusev down the line following his return.
