Backstage Reaction To Tiffany Stratton & Charlotte Flair WWE SmackDown Segment

The backstage reaction to last night’s WWE SmackDown segment with Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has been revealed.

Last week’s episode of SmackDown saw a rather newsworthy segment with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair ahead of their championship match at WrestleMania 41.

The face to face segment went off the rails, with Tiffany and Charlotte exchanging off-script remarks to each other, including Tiffany mentioning Charlotte’s 3 divorces, as well as Charlotte mentioning that Tiffany’s boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser was in her DMs.

Much of last week’s segment was not scripted, planned or approved of, which led to a lot of heavy edits to the segment on social media.

To follow up on last week’s controversial segment, WWE filmed an attack angle with the two women in the parking lot prior to last night’s SmackDown show.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE officials were happy with how Tiffany and Charlotte responded and worked together following last week’s segment.

The two also got involved in a ringside brawl on SmackDown, which ended up being very stiff, though based on what Fightful was told, everything ended up okay and producers and backstage personnel say things went as planned, and the segment was received well.
