A new report has discussed the backstage reaction to WrestleMania 37, and if it has impacted plans for WrestleMania 38.
WrestleMania 37 was praised by a large portion of the WWE fanbase. Capped off with Roman Reigns retaining his Universal Championship, the 2 night event was generally well-received.
As per WrestleVotes, WrestleMania 37 was also considered a success backstage. The Twitter account recently noted that, other than the first weather delay in the event’s history, the weekend went smoothly.
While the general reaction to the 2 night show was positive, it has been reported that WrestleMania 38 is still slated for just one night, April 3, 2022.
Explaining that plans haven’t changed for WrestleMania 38, WrestleVotes tweeted:
“Now that the weekend is behind us, nearly everyone I’ve spoke to regarding WrestleMania had positive things to say. Aside from the weather, everything went smooth. The 2 day event was viewed as a success, but plans still remain for 1 single night next year in Dallas.”
Roman Reigns dominantly pinned Daniel Bryan and Edge at the same time on WrestleMania 37 Night 2. After many fans took issue with the finish, it seems like the controversial pin will be addressed on Friday’s SmackDown.
Also in WrestleMania news, a fan who attended both nights of the show has unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19.
