Backstage Update On Several Free Agents Attending Recent WWE Event WWE

A backstage update has been reported after several free agents attended Tuesday’s WWE NXT (November 19).

As previously reported, three British independent stars were spotted in the crowd during this week’s WWE NXT – that being reigning PROGRESS Women’s Champion Rhio, as well as Tate Mayfairs and Molly Spartan.

When the news was first reported the nature of all three’s visit to NXT was not yet known, however, now a report from Fightful Select has revealed further details.

Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan enquired with several sources in both the British wrestling scene and WWE NXT and was told that the trio were “just visiting for now” at the taping.

Rhio is currently in Orlando for a tour of the United States and is working under a Visa provided by PROGRESS.

It was reported back in July that WWE could have potential interest in bringing in Rhio, after she was invited to the WWE Clash at the Castle premium live event in Glasgow back in June.

No deal between the two sides was offered or discussed at that time, though it was noted that Rhio wouldn’t have been invited by the company if there was no interest.

Mayfairs was previously a member of the WWE NXT UK roster, while Spartan is married to Gallus’ Wolfgang.

Fightful also noted that there has not been any updates regarding European wrestling talent potentially getting signed to the WWE ID program at this time.

We will provide further updates regarding any WWE interest in Rhio, Mayfairs and Spartan as/when they become available.
