Backstage Update On WWE Hall Of Fame 2025 ‘Immortal Moment’ Induction Announcement WWE

A backstage update has emerged regarding WWE’s announcement of the first-ever “Immortal Moment” induction into this year’s Hall of Fame.

During today’s Friday Night SmackDown in London, England a history-making announcement was made regarding the next inductee into the 2025 Hall of Fame.

Rather than a traditional superstar induction, WWE announced that the classic match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart at WrestleMania 13 would be inducted into the Hall of Fame as an “Immortal Moment”.

With Austin vs. Hart becoming the first match to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame, WrestleVotes has shared some details regarding the announcement and WWE’s decision-making behind it.

Posting to Twitter, WrestleVotes revealed that WWE inducting Austin vs. Hart was something that was always a part of the plan for the 2025 Hall of Fame, rather than being a decision made due to ticket sales for the event itself.

The 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas on Friday, April 18, and as announced by Joe Tessitore on SmackDown, both Austin and Hart will be in attendance.

We will provide further updates on WWE’s plans for the “Immortal Moment” Hall of Fame inductions as more information becomes available.
