Bad Bunny put on a stunning singles match against Damian Priest at tonight’s WWE premium live event, Backlash.
With a hard hitting battle throughout, the ‘San Juan Street Fight’ did not disappoint with big spots throughout.
After Priest landed a massive Broken Arrow through a table off of a road case in the crowd, things seemed dire for the beloved Benito.
However as Priest carried Bunny back to ringside, a miscalculated kick led to Priest appearing to first ‘injure’ his ankle, then ‘hyperextend his knee’ as Bad Bunny targeted Priest’s left leg repeatedly.
Wrapping a chain around the injured ankle, Priest begged for mercy but Bad Bunny went back to his cart of tricks and used a chair next.
However when Bad Bunny paused at the apologetic pleas of Damian Priest, he left himself open to a big boot to the face ahead Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio running out to help Priest.
With Corey Graves making a Kendall Jenner reference, perhaps that was what summoned Rey Mysterio to attempt to even the numbers, coming to Bad Bunny’s aid.
However when Carlito’s music hit, the crowd went insane as a returning Carlito ran out to take out the Judgment Day.
After getting a fairly substantive beating from both Rey and Carlito, they attempted to escape up the ramp instead they were blocked by Savio Vega.
Vega called out the LWO, they took on Dominik as Vega delivered vicious chops to Finn Balor (and then Dominik much to the joy of the crowd) as the Judgment Day retreated.
Meanwhile in the ring, the street fight continued as Bad Bunny got Damian Priest into a brutal Figure 4, continuing the damage on Priest’s leg but didn’t get the job done just yet.
Bad Bunny would go on to hit an absolutely insane Canadian Destroyer that Michael Cole referred to as a “Bunny Destroyer” and captured the huge pinfall victory before celebrating with the entire LWO, Savio Vega and Carlito.
