Baron Corbin Shares Last Voice Message WWE Legend Bray Wyatt Sent Him

Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) has recalled the last voice message he was sent by WWE legend Bray Wyatt before his passing.

Bray Wyatt passed away in August 2023 while still on the active WWE roster.

The former WWE Champion is remembered as one of the most creative, unique and dedicated characters of the modern era, or even of all time.

Speaking about his memories of Wyatt, former WWE star Baron Corbin, now known as Bishop Dyer, has revealed the last voice message he was sent by Bray Wyatt, and how it perfectly illustrates Wyatt’s commitment.

Speaking on Off The Ropes, Dyer said:

“I looked back and I still have the last message that was sent between us. He sent a voice memo, because he hadn’t replied in a couple of days and I was texting with him, and he’s like, ‘Sorry, I’ve been in the woods just finding new stuff for the character.’

“He just would tromp through the woods up where he lived and think about his character development, think about what it can do and how to protect it, and how to make it believable.

“Because there were times, especially with The Fiend, where it’s like, ‘Well, what do we do with this? Because he can’t be killed, he’s this absolute monster.’ But he would find creative ways.

“And he was always changing, and the promos, and the stories he would tell. He is the true definition of a creative mind with an amazing character and just kind of letting him be him.”
