Baron Corbin New Post-WWE Ring Name Seemingly Revealed WWE

Baron Corbin parted ways with WWE when his contract expired in November 2024 and has now revealed what may be his new ring name.

The former WWE United States Champion became a free agent on January 1 and was confirmed to be competing at The People vs. GCW on January 19, 2025.

Competing as Tom Pestock in the Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City, it now appears that the former Corbin may be ready to adopt a new ring name.

A filing on the United States Patent and Trademark Office website has revealed that Pestock has filed an application for the term “BISHOP DYER” with the listing reading:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer;

Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;

Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer;

Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestler and sports entertainer in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

It’s currently unclear how Pestock intends to use this term, however it has been heavily speculated to be a new ring name.

Pestock recently praised a rising WWE star, noting that he is “money”.

It has also been reported that another promotion has an interest in Pestock, with both parties having been in contact.
