Former WWE Champion Batista Addresses Significant Weight Loss Paige Taylor White/WWE

Former WWE Champion Batista (Dave Bautista) has addressed his body transformation, commenting on his recent weight loss.

With Batista currently promoting his upcoming movie The Killer’s Game, the former WWE star has shown off his body transformation, with photos circulating showing that Batista looking noticeably thinner.

While some have shown concern for Batista’s health, the Animal recently revealed that he has purposefully been trying to lose weight.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Batista noted that getting the weight off has been challenging for him, following a film role in which he went up to 315 pounds.

Noting that he hasn’t been this light since he was 19, Batista said:

“I’m getting super trimmed. This is probably the lightest I’ve been since I was 19 years old.

“The heaviest I’ve ever been was 370 pounds. When I started Deacon, I was about 325 pounds. Throughout most of my wrestling career, I was about 290 pounds. Now I’m about 240 pounds.

“Just a year and a half ago for Knock At The Cabin, I went up to 315 pounds and that’s when the nightmare started. Getting that weight off has been a real challenge.”

The Killer’s Game, set for a September 13 release, will also feature WWE’s Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre recently revealed how Batista has been helping him, which you can read more about right here.
