It was announced today by WWE that along with the nWo, multi-time World Champion Batista will be inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame on WrestleMania weekend.
Many people have been speculating about who will induct Batista into the Hall of Fame in April, with names such as Rey Mysterio, Triple H and John Cena being thrown about.
However, Batista has revealed on Twitter who he has requested to induct him into the Hall of Fame, and it might surprise you.
Responding to Xavier Woods who said D’Von Dudley should induct him into the Hall of Fame, Batista has said that he has “personally requested” for Fit Finlay to be the man to induct him.
I owe a lot to all those names mentioned and many more but for personal reasons I’ve personally requested that @ringfox1 induct me into the #WWEHOF … I’m sure that anyone who knows Fit Finlay will not question my request. https://t.co/avDddMC4jJ

Many top tier WWE stars from both the past and present have spoken very highly of Finlay and said that the former WCW wrestler had a ton of influence over their respective careers.
The Irishman, who works for WWE as a producer, is one of the former wrestlers that many people online believe deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully, it will be Batista inducting Finlay in the not too distant future.
