Batista vs Donald Trump heats up

Vince McMahon and WWE may be huge supporters of Donald Trump but one of their best known former champions has continued waging a war of words on the President.

Dave Bautista has made no secret of his disgust that Trump is President and he took to Twitter to hit out at the Donald once again, calling him a “horrible excuse for a human being”.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star’s comments came after he retweeted a video about Central American children who had been separated from their parents at US border control.

The video contained heart-rending audio of children crying.

The eight-minute audio was obtained by independent journalism site ProPublica. They said it was recorded inside a U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility, in which children can be heard wailing as an agent jokes, “We have an orchestra here.”

Bautista has been outspoken against Trump in the past.

The two men crossed paths in wrestling when both appeared for WWE, most notably at WrestleMania 23 in 2007 when Trump was in Bobby Lashley’s corner for the highly-touted ‘Battle of the Billionaires’ match against a Vince McMahon-backed Umaga. Batista faced The Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the same show.

Bautista has even said he might leave the country if the President gets re-elected and that fellow WWE Champion-turned Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would make a better leader of the free world.

On the story about the footage, the Huffington Post said HERE:

“President Donald Trump’s administration announced the family separation policy in May as a part of a “zero tolerance” crackdown on illegal immigration to the United States. The practice of taking children from parents who illegally enter the country has ignited bipartisan backlash.

“Trump has blamed Democrats amid mounting criticism, saying the crackdown was a result of inaction on border security in Congress. However, the family separations are entirely the result of Trump administration policy.”

The Huffington Post said it had not independently confirmed the authenticity of the recording.

CNN reported that the anonymous person who made the recording gave the audio to civil rights attorney Jennifer Harbury, who provided it to ProPublica. (Article HERE)
